Novaschool Sunland International promotes a Charity Christmas Campaign for the kids of Cártama

Our Sixth-Form students have recently been working on a Charity Christmas Campaign and are very keen to get the whole school involved. The aim of it is to encourage Sunland families to create giftboxes that will then be distributed to kids in need in Cártama with the help of the Cártama social services.

Christmas is just around the corner and there are many children in Cártama who unfortunately, don’t have the same priveleges as we do. Therefore, we would like to do something special for  those children less fortunate this festive season.

We encourage each family from Novaschool Sunland International to become a part of this great cause by creating giftboxes, at home, with your children.

To ensure consistency among the giftboxes that will be given to the children, please read the instructions below:

  • The size of the giftbox should be approximately the size of a shoebox (you can use a shoebox as the box!)
  • We ask families to spend a minimum of 10 euros. Families can, of course, choose to pair up to split the cost.
  • Gifts can include: toys and drawing material; sweets, biscuits or chocolates (No fresh foods) and/or books. Gifts should all be new or in spotless condition.
  • The boxes should be wrapped.
  • Families can choose what age group they would like to prepare a box for (3-5 years, 6-8 years or 9-13 years) and if it is for a girl/boy/gender neutral. This information must appear clearly on a label on the top of the box.

Children can drop off their wrapped and labeled gift boxes from the 13th to the 15th of December from 9.20h to 9.40h in the School Office. A group of Y12 and Y13 students will be there to receive them.

Don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity to help put a smile on a child’s face!
