We celebrate an entire week dedicated to science at our British centre Novaschool Sunland International, from Monday 28 November to Friday 2 December.
The goal of this event is for students to reflect on everyday discoveries and how they affect our lives by exploring Science in the world around us.
The teaching team has planned several projects, combining theory and practice, to stimulate active and creative learning around a variety of topics covered in the different educational stages.
The little ones enjoyed scientific activities related to the theme of growth by planting seeds and seedlings, learning about the trees on the school grounds and adopting a class tree. Their seeds are now sprouting well, and although some of the seedlings became food, most are growing well!
Older students participated in workshops on “growing your mind” and how using a growth mindset can help you succeed in many areas of life. Others have done experiments related to renewable energy directly in our laboratory.
We take this opportunity to thank all the parents who came to help by sharing knowledge with the children or providing seeds, pots, and plants.
