Throughout the past week our British school Novaschool Sunland has actively participated in the food collection campaign organised nationally by the Spanish Foundation of Food Banks.
The Novaschool Educational Group continues to collaborate with official food banks of Málaga registered in FESBAL. The entire educational community – school staff, students, and families- participated with an economic donation through a collection directly in our school.
Our international school will give its donation to BANCOSOL (Food Bank of the Costa del Sol): the money raised is €524.60. In addition, from Novaschool we are committed to adding 50% of the total amount collected to the donation of all the centres belonging to the educational group.
This year, our Sixth Form students had the opportunity to actively collaborate with FESBAL helping volunteers in three supermarkets of the area: Mercadona, Lidl and Maskom. It has been an enriching experience for all those who participated, and we are very proud to have pupils so committed to solidarity initiatives.
