This Friday, February 25, we celebrate one of the most fun parties of the year: Carnival!
From Novaschool Sunland we love this party for being so cheerful and an occasion for everyone to enjoy a day of music, parades and costumes.
This school year 2021-2022 we have opted for a thematic event: ‘Dancing through the decades’.
Our Primary pupils, from Year 1 to Year 6, has been given a different era and have made their parade to the rhythm of music from those years wearing their themed costumes.
Year 1 – 1920’s & 1930’s
Year 2 – 2000’s & 2010’s
Year 3 – 2010’s
Year 4 – 1980’s & 1990’s
Year 5 – 1940’s & 1950’s
Year 6 – 1960’s & 1970’s
The activities that have been developed throughout the day have all been dedicated to Carnival, its origins, traditions and characters. We had a great time!
