Joan Manuel Gisbert

Galería de fotosOn 3rd April, we were fortunate to have a visit from Joan Manuel Gisbert, the author of Magos del atardecer (Wizards of the sunset) and El viaje secreto (The secret journey), as well as many other books. These books have been read and worked on by students in Year 2, Year 6 and Year 7 in language classes over the Spring term.
Joan Manuel Gisbert is an author who writes for the Edelvives publisher which, as we all know, is a publisher which gives us the possibility of organising talks and presentations by some of the authors who have had their books published by them.
During the last visit on the 3rd April, Joan Manuel Gisbert shared some of his own experiences as a writer with our students and spoke about some interesting facts to do with the books we had read. He even did a game with the students to encourage them to continue reading and enjoy it.
As always, it was a very entertaining and rewarding day for both the children and the teachers, and this is certainly something we hope to continue doing in the coming years.
