Cártama, 2 de mayo de 2013.Recientemente los alumnos en Receptión, Year 1 y Year 2 han participado en una nueva iniciativa. A través de una antigua amistad personal, nos hemos puesto en contacto con una escuela infantil de Witham, Essex, Inglaterra, y hemos empezado a intercambiar ideas y experiencias. Además, se han enviado y recibido ejemplos de trabajos de los alumnos que esperamos ver en las aulas pronto. Esta es la declaración del acuerdo al que hemos llegado los dos colegios:
`Nos hemos puesto de acuerdo para tratar mutuamente de construir, compartir y apoyar vínculos curriculares entre nuestros dos colegios; para desarrollar un aprecio más profundo de la cultura del otro, para formar amistades de clase a través del contacto regular y para ayudarnos mutuamente en mejorar la comprensión de nuestros alumnos y del mundo que les rodea´.

Cártama, 2nd May 2013. Recently the students in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 have been involved in a new initiative. Through an old staff friendship, we have made contact with an infant school in Witham in Essex, England, and have already begun to exchange ideas and experiences and have sent and received examples of students’ work which we hope to display in our classrooms in future.
Here is the mission statement on which the two schools have agreed:
‘We mutually agree to strive to build, share and support curriculum links between our two schools, to develop a deeper appreciation of each other’s cultures, to form class friendships through regular contact and to assist each other in broadening our students’ understanding of the world around them.’
