Cártama, 7 de febrero de 2013. Los alumnos de Y1 han diseñado y construido vehículos en la clase de “Maquetas”. Han tenido que decidir cuántas ruedas usar y de qué tamaño. También han tenido que pensar en cómo conseguir que los coches se muevan lo más lejos posible sin necesidad de ser empujados.
Después han probado sus vehículos en una rampa del patio, tanto en suelo de cemento como en suelo de hierba. Después del experimento descubrieron que los vehículos con más ruedas se movían más deprisa pero que no llegaban tan lejos sobre un suelo de hierba.
Year 1 designed and made vehicles from the class construction kit. They had to decide how many wheels they would use and how long they wanted to make them. They also had to think about how to make them travel as far as possible without pushing them.
Later they tested their vehicles on a ramp in the playground, first on the concrete floor and then on the grass. They found that the vehicles with more wheels travelled the furthest but they didn`t go very far on the grass.
