Cártama, 11 de diciembre de 2012. El pasado 28 de noviembre los alumnos de Year 2 visitaron Cocodrilo Park en Torremolinos y, después, fueron a Butterfly Park en Benalmádena.
Los estudiantes están aprendiendo sobre los animales y sus hábitats. Pudieron escuchar de mano de un experto cómo es la vida de un cocodrilo. Enrique, propietario del parque, explicó de forma maravillosa cómo nacen los cocodrilos, cómo cazan a sus presas, con qué frecuencia comen, cuánto pesan y mucho más… Después, los niños tuvieron oportunidad de poner a prueba lo aprendido y ¡¡¡lo recordaron todo!!!
Más tarde, realizaron una breve visita al parque de las mariposas, en la que los estudiantes observaron las diferentes especies de mariposas junto con su ciclo de vida. Algunos de los niños consiguieron atraer a algunas mariposas y ¡¡consiguieron que se posaran en ellos!!!
Fue un viaje maravilloso que aumenta el conocimiento de los alumnos dentro del currículum.
Cartama, 28th November, 2012. Today year 2 visited the Crocodile Park in Torremolinos along with the Butterfly Park in Benalmadena. The students are currently learning about animals and their habitats and were able to hear first-hand from an expert about the life of a crocodile. Enrique, the park´s owner, was marvelous in his explanations of how crocodiles are born, how they hunt their prey, how often they eat, how much they weigh… and the list goes on. Later, the children were tested on these things and they surprisingly remembered everything!
After this, there was a short visit to the Butterfly Park in which the students looked at the different types of butterflies, along with their life cycle. Some children managed to attract butterflies as some landed on them and wouldn´t leave!
All in all it was a wonderful trip which enhanced their knowledge of the curriculum.
