Málaga, 8 de marzo de 2012. Novaschool Sunland International ha celebrado la Jornada de Puertas Abiertas para que padres y madres del alumnado puedan compartir con sus hijos/as las actividades que realizan en las horas escolares. Pero, no sólo son los familiares los que han podido conocer de cerca el día a día del alumnado de este centro británico, cualquier familia interesada tiene las puertas abiertas en este día tan especial para los alumnos/as.
El buen tiempo ha acompañado la Jornada y durante unas horas, los mayores entraron en las aulas de sus hijos/as para presenciar cómo el profesorado imparte sus asignaturas, cómo manejan las nuevas tecnologías (pizarras digitales, ordenadores,…) y cómo se expresan en inglés. Además, los que quisieron comieron junto a sus hijos/as en el colegio y disfrutaron del recreo y de las actividades extraescolares junto a ellos en las instalaciones del centro.
Sin duda, ha sido un día muy especial para todos aquellos que han compartido el día a día del centro Novaschool Sunland International.
Go into your child’s classroom and see how they spend the day
On 8th March, 2012, Sunland International Novaschool held an Open Day so that parents could be a part of the activities that their children do over the school day. However, it was not just relatives who were able to come and see the students´ daily routine first hand; on this special day, the doors were open to any family who was interested.
Good weather accompanied the event and for a few hours, adults went into their children´s classrooms to witness how staff teach, how they handle new technology (whiteboards, computers, …) and how they express themselves in English. Furthermore, those who wished to, ate with their children in the school dining-room and enjoyed playtime and extra-curricular activities within the school´s facilities.
It certainly was a very special day for all those who experienced the day to day of Sunland International Novaschool.
