Cártama, 7 d eoctubre de 2014. Este año estamos encantados de utilizar dos nuevos recursos “online” para ayudar a mantener nuestros altos niveles de enseñanza en matemáticas e inglés.
Abacus es un programa de matemáticas utilizado por diferentes colegios del Reino Unido y ofrece a profesores y estudiantes miles de recursos en línea y planificación. Todos estos recursos están asociados perfectamente con el currículo nacional británico. Proporcionan un divertido aprendizaje y una muy buena base para ayudar a profesores y estudiantes a trabajar juntos en matemáticas.
Abacus da un enfoque único y robusto para crear matemáticos jóvenes, inspirados y confiados. Nos da libertad (si queremos) y los medios (donde y cuando elijamos) para inspirar el amor por las matemáticas en nuestros alumnos, asegurar su comprensión y vigilar la progresión para cada niño. Contiene miles de recursos y un mundo para los alumnos donde los estudiantes ganan puntos y pegatinas.
Wordsmith es un programa de inglés utilizado por varios colegios en el Reino Unido y como Abacus y ofrece a profesores y estudiantes miles de recursos en línea y planificación.
Wordsmith también fue diseñado para ayudar a los profesores a crear confianza en los alumnos, fomenta su creatividad y desarrolla sus habilidades de comunicación con todas las herramientas del lenguaje que necesitan para triunfar en cualquiera las áreas de su aprendizaje. Combina un énfasis en la lectura por placer, con un enfoque en la gramática y escritura. Con este fin, el programa se basa en principios fundamentales, desarrollados en conjunto con expertos en alfabetización para elevar el nivel de los estudiantes del Reino Unido.

It is founded on a unique and robust approach to creating inspired and confident young mathematicians. It gives you freedom (when you want it) and structure (where you choose it) to inspire a love of maths and ensure understanding and progression for every child. It contains thousands of resources and a “pupil world” where students win stickers and points.
Wordsmith is an English programme used by various schools in the UK and provides teachers and students with thousands of online resources and planning. Wordsmith was designed to help teachers create confident, creative communicators with the language tools they need to succeed in every area of their learning. It combines an emphasis on reading for pleasure with a focus on grammar and writing skills. To this end, the programme is underpinned by four core principles, developed in conjunction with the UK’s leading experts in Literacy and raising standards: Contextualised Grammar, Talk for Writing, Varied and Whole Texts, and Real Purpose and Audience.
