On Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 23rd of May, Years 3 were working on measuring distances in Mathematics. After doing an exercise in class, changing amounts from centimetres into metres and vice versa, they were then shown how to use a trundle wheel. This a device used to measure long distances in metres.
Then we went out to measure the length and width of the Primary building and after that we made other measurements around the school.
The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the lesson. Well done Years 3!!
