En Novaschool Sunland hemos celebrado el Día Internacional de la Mujer de una forma muy especial, y es que nueve madres del colegio se prestaron a dar una pequeña charla sobre sus profesiones de distintos sectores a nuestro alumnado de secundaria.
Los alumnos y alumnas asistieron el viernes 6 de marzo a distintas charlas, cuyas ponentes eran todas mujeres, madres, profesionales de distintos sectores: Enfermera, Doctora especializada en Traumatología, Logopeda, Concejala, Ingeniera de telecomunicaciones, Controladora aérea, Doctora en Económicas y Administración Empresarial, Directora de compañía y experta en las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (TIC), y Directora de operaciones del grupo Novaschool.
Todas ellas expusieron su experiencia, respondiendo a preguntas como, entre otras:
- ¿Cómo supieron a lo que querían dedicarse?
- ¿Cómo llegaron al puesto en el que están?
- ¿Qué estudios fueron necesarios?
Y todo ello con el objetivo de motivar a los estudiantes y hacerles ver que, con esfuerzo y ganas, todo es posible.

We have celebrated the International Women’s Day in a very special way. Nine mothers of the school gave a talk about their professions from different sectors to our secondary students.
Secondary students attended different talks on last Friday 6th March, whose speakers were all women, mothers, professionals from different sectors: Nurse, Doctor specializing in Traumatology, Speech Therapist, Town Councillor, Telecommunications Engineer, Air Traffic Controller, Doctor in Economics and Business Management, ICT expert, and Operations Manager of Novaschool Education Group.
All of them presented their experience, answering questions such as:
- How did they know what they wanted to do?
- How did they get to the position they are in?
- What studies were necessary?
All of this with the aim of motivating students and making them see that, with effort, everything is possible.
