Grease the musical performed at Cartama Theatre on Friday 31st March

Grease the musical performed by Novaschool Sunland International students at Cartama Theatre on Friday 31 st March.

This year over 70 students of all ages from our Secondary School were involved in the performance of ‘Grease’ the musical. The students began rehearsing for the show in October, and each week they would show their dedication and commitment to making sure the performance was perfect.

What makes our shows special is that it is an opportunity to let our students’ talents shine, it is a true collaboration amongst the performing arts department. This year was no exception with students acting, singing, dancing, playing in the band, creating the scenery and props and managing the sound and lighting during the performance, they were truly amazing. We cannot forget that amongst the talented students there were also a few special appearances from our staff too.

This year we broke all previous records with nearly 300 people watching in the audience. It was a wonderful end to the second term and Miss Evans, Miss Baker, Miss Jenny and Miss Maddie are already planning what next year’s show will be!

Here you have a little piece of the play and the full play.
