Sunland Spring Fair 2022

Last Friday, May 6, the entire educational community of Novaschool Sunland gathered to celebrate the Spring Fair in our British school located in Estación de Cártama in order to raise money for the Ukraine Emergency.

From 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. all attendees enjoyed this special event full of different entertainment activities, snacks and drinks, sharing this great day organised by the Novaschool Educational Group and AMPA essence.

The Promúsica Quintet of the Malaga Musical Foundation played songs from Star Wars, Amadeus, Polka, Charmed, The Avengers, Beauty and the Beast, Pirates of the Caribbean while our choir and band have sung and played pieces by Nina Simone, Coldplay, The Rolling Stones, Sara Bareilles and Katrina and the Waves. Likewise, our drama students did ‘The Studio has Talent’ performance.

The sports court was full of food stalls where people could order snacks, as well as drinks such as water, soft drinks and beer. There was a variety offer of sweet and salty snacks: popcorn, churros with chocolate, potatoes, cotton candy, potato omelette, sandwiches and fruit skewers.

Additionally, a flower stall and a small second-hand clothing market have been set up, where tickets for the raffle could be purchased too. In the same way, an art exhibition has been installed in which paintings made by our students could be acquired.

The children have enjoyed an afternoon of play in our sports facilities and in the Foundation playground, on top of that they had the opportunity to have their faces painted thanks to the collaboration of our art teacher and some Secondary students.

From Novaschool Sunland we are very grateful for the active participation of our educational community and we hope to repeat next year with the same enthusiasm.
