Starting from 2022 our British International School will collaborate with the European Cricket League located at the new cricket ground in Cártama, The Oval Cártama.
In Novaschool sport is part of physical and mental training, our mission is to prepare future high-level professionals with extensive skills for their working life through our educational model based on high academic and sports performance. This philosophy is one of the pillars of our group’s educational methodology, therefore we count on spaces reserved exclusively for its development.
Physical activity and sport are fundamental elements in the training and education of the youngest; they promote companionship, coexistence through individual and group games. In fact, at Sunland we are specialists in instilling sports practice among students and staff of the centre, since our school has sports facilities, gym and swimming pool.
This new collaboration is an excellent opportunity for our students to have the chance to practice another kind of sport. We are organising a special cricket week that will take place in March in order to bring 30 pupils per day to the pitch located in Cártama for a specialised training day. Those who demonstrate good skills will be invited to participate in a competition that will be broadcast on TV.
