British education has a worldwide reputation for quality and is recognised and respected around the world; deciding on a British Education goes far beyond a linguistic choice.

It gives pupils a complete education, to become open-minded, dynamic and creative independent learners in order to be able to fase successfully future challenges.

British education is renowed for concerning itself with the development of the whole personality. Learning is important, but not enough in itself. Students need to develop their potential to think for themselves and form opinions, it means going into a highly profesional education system with high expectations both academic and of personal development.

A variety of teaching and assessment methods designed to develop independent thouht as well as a mastery of the subject matter is used. In the British Education System, students are taught to learn by questioning, problem-solving and creative thinking rather than by the mere retention of facts, hence giving them analytical and creative thinkings skills that they will need in the working world.

The International AS & A Level curriculum is designed so that learners develop independent study skills which universities value highly. Cambridge and Edexcel Advanced Level is designed for learners aged 16 to 19 years who need advanced study to prepare for University. Thousands of learners worldwide gain places at leading universities every year with Cambridge and Edexcel International AS & A Levels. The syllabuses develop a deep understanding of subjects and independent thinking skills.

The set of subjects is carefully designed to deliver a relevant curriculum, competitive to apply to any University. The student will progress logically and individually along their path, designed to cover all aspect of the students’s academic and personal development.

It’s exactly what you would expect from an organisation that is part of the world-leading University of Cambridge and Pearson Examination Board. Thanks to the homologation between the British Council and the Spanish Ministry of Education, our students can access to both Spanish and European universities once they finish their studies here with us, guaranteering their academical success.

Homologation is a process whereby the Spanish Ministry of Education assesses a foreign degree and judges it to be comparable to a Spanish degree and with the same effects for profesional purposes. If students choose to opt for a Spanish University they can do the ‘Fase Especifica’ (Specific Subjects) to complement and increase their grade.

It is a great competitive advantage of British Schools that their students get at the end of their educational stage a double degree (IGCSE / A Levels and homologation in the Spanish system). It is actually an international degree, something recognized in the academic and professional world: a ‘direct passport’ to the best universities.

Having studied in a British School and obtained its degrees is undoubtedly a differential lead that our students will have when facing the complex professional world in the future.
