Novaschool Sunland International se une al Junior Mathematical Challenge 2021 con los estudiantes de Y7 y Y8.
Hoy lunes 26 de abril, después de haber aprobado nuestra selección interna, nuestros 30 mejores estudiantes representarán a nuestro colegio británico en Málaga en esta competición, Junior Mathematical Challenge 2021. Se trata de una competición en la que nuestros alumnos y alumnas tienen la oportunidad de demostrar sus habilidades.
El JMC es un concurso de 60 minutos y de tipo test dirigido a estudiantes de escuelas británicas. Los problemas están diseñados para fomentar el razonamiento matemático, la precisión del pensamiento y la fluidez en el uso de técnicas básicas.
Como organización benéfica, UKMT (United Kingdom Mathematics Trust) no obtiene beneficios de las cuotas de entrada, por lo tanto invierte todo el dinero recaudado en promover la educación de los jóvenes.
Participar en este evento es una experiencia estimulante y gratificante para todos los estudiantes y los profesores involucrados. Al final de la competición, el UKMT otorga el 40% de los participantes con certificados de bronce, plata y oro en la proporción 3:2:1.
Además, invitan unos 2000 entre los mejores alumnos a participar en la Olimpiada Junior y más de 10.000 para participar en el Junior Kangaroo, otras dos competiciones internacionales.

Novaschool Sunland International joins the Junior Mathematical Challenge 2021 with Y7 and Y8 students.
Today Monday 26th of April, after being tested here, our 30 best students will represent the school in this competition.
The JMC is a 60-minute, multiple-choice competition aimed at students of British Schools and colleges. Problems are designed to encourage mathematical reasoning, precision of thought and fluency in using basic techniques.
As a charity, UKMT (United Kingdom Mathematics Trust) does not make a profit from entry fees but they invest all the money raised on advancing the education of young people in mathematics.
Taking part to this event is a stimulating and rewarding experience for all students and teachers involved. At the end of the competition the UKMT award the top-scoring 40% of participants with Bronze, Silver and Gold certificates in the ratio 3:2:1.
Besides, they invite around 2000 of the very highest performers to take part in the Junior Olympiad and over 10.000 to take part in the Junior Kangaroo.
