Por primera vez en la historia de nuestro colegio británico, el 11 de diciembre fue el día del jersey de Navidad en Novaschool Sunland International. ¡Fue un viernes increíble porque Santa Claus visitó a nuestros alumnos de Reception y Preschool ese mismo día!
Estudiantes, profesores y personal de la escuela han llevado puesto un jersey de Navidad y cada uno ha traído una pequeña donación de 1€ que va directamente a Save the Children, una fabulosa organización benéfica que ayuda a niños de todo el mundo.
Esta organización promueve cambios para obtener más derechos para que los jóvenes mejoren sus vidas a través de una mejor educación, asistencia sanitaria y oportunidades económicas. Todo esto, para cumplir la Declaración de los Derechos del Niño de las Naciones Unidas y – al mismo tiempo – proporcionar ayuda de emergencia en desastres naturales, guerras y otros tipos de conflictos.
Al Departamento de Responsabilidad Social Corporativa (RSC) del Grupo Educativo Novaschool le importa que nuestros estudiantes desarrollen su espíritu solidario y su empatía llevando a cabo diferentes proyectos sobre los derechos humanos. De echo, organizamos muchas iniciativas solidarias para involucrar al máximo a nuestros alumnos y sensibilizarles sobre las necesidades de los demás.
Hoy, nos complace anunciar que la cantidad recaudada gracias a este evento organizado por la profesora Sarah Walton – tutora de Y3B – es de 795,90 euros. Fue un evento mundial y estamos muy contentos con el resultado obtenido

En esta época del año, normalmente se le invitaría a los padres para asistir a una actuación de Navidad pero desafortunadamente, todo esto ha sido cancelado debido a la situación actual.
Sin embargo, vamos a tomar fotos o hacer videos de los niños cantando y bailando cuando reciban su “Amigo Invisible” – para que todo el mundo pueda disfrutar de este momento tan especial del año con nosotros.[:en]For the very first time, December 11th was Christmas Jumper Day at Novaschool Sunland International. It was an amazing Friday because Santa Claus visited our Reception and Preschool pupils the same day!
Students, teachers and school staff come to school wearing a Christmas jumper for a small donation of 1€ which goes straight to Save the Children, a fabulous charity which helps children from around the world.
This organisation promotes policy changes to gain more rights for young people to improve their lives through better education, health care and economic opportunities – especially by enforcing the UN Declaration of the Rights of the Child while providing emergency aid in natural disasters, war and other types of conflicts.
The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Department of the Novaschool Educational Group is concerned that our students develop their solidarity spirit and empathy carrying out different actions and projects which always serve human and social rights.
That is why we organise lots of solidarity initiatives in order to involve our pupils to the fullest and raise awareness about other peoples’ needs.
Today, we are pleased to announce that the amount raised by our Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day – organised by Miss Sarah Walton, Y3B Tutor – is €795.90.
This was a world-wide event and we are extremely happy with the result achieved

At this time of the year, you would normally be invited for a Christmas performance put together by your children. Unfortunately, all performances have been cancelled due to the current situation.
However, we will be taking pictures or making a video in class, with the children singing and dancing – we are going to do this when they receive their “Secret Santa” – so that you can enjoy this special momet of the year with us.[:]
