Los `mayores´ de Novaschool Añoreta y de Novaschool Sunland se despiden a lo grande

El pasado viernes se celebró en el centro escolar el acto académico de graduación con una posterior cena de gala para los alumnos, profesores y familiares.

Málaga, 4 de junio de 2012. Recuerdos, emoción y felicidad son las palabras que describen la tarde del pasado viernes en Novaschool Añoreta. Se celebró el acto de graduación de los alumnos de 2º de Bachillerato de Novaschool Añoreta y de Novaschool Sunland en una tarde en la que ellos fueron los máximos protagonistas, tal y como la ocasión lo merecía, todas las miradas de profesores y familiares recayeron sobre ellos.

En la primera parte se llevó a cabo el acto académico en el que la directora de Novaschool Añoreta, Elvira Báez; el director de Novaschool Sunland International, Mark Woolley; la subdirectora, Ada Valero; los jefes de estudio de ambos centros, Fátima Cordero y Rachel Evans, y los tutores, Patricia Rodríguez, Ali Bagherian y Rosa Ortiz, dedicaron unas emotivas palabras y expresaron sus mejores deseos a todo el alumnado de segundo de Bachillerato.

Posteriormente, el invitado de honor, Jose María Troya, director de la ETS de informática de la UMA, y el consejero delegado de Novaschool, Francisco Barrionuevo, también enviaron un mensaje a los alumnos en el que proclamaban la importancia del esfuerzo, el trabajo, el compromiso, la constancia y la responsabilidad en sus próximos años universitarios. Tras todos los discursos, se llevó a cabo la imposición de becas y la entrega de diplomas a los estudiantes, señal de haber superado el segundo ciclo de Bachillerato en el centro bilingüe Novaschool Añoreta y en el centro británico Novaschool Sunland.

La segunda parte de la ceremonia trascurrió en el comedor de Primaria con un cocktail que se sirvió en el patio de árboles y una posterior cena para todas las familias, profesorado y alumnado del centro. Un comedor vestido de gala para la ocasión, lleno de flores, velas y luces para despedir por todo lo alto a los futuros universitarios.

The `oldies’ of Novaschool Añoreta and Novaschool Sunland say goodbye in style

Last Friday, the class of 2012 graduation ceremony took place at the Novaschool Añoreta centre followed by a gala dinner for students, teachers and family members.

Malaga, 4th June, 2012. Memories, emotions and happiness are the words that describe the Friday afternoon at Añoreta. The class of 2012 graduation ceremony was held on an afternoon in which the Novaschool Añoreta and Novaschool Sunland students were the main protagonists, as deserved. All eyes, including those of families and teachers, were upon them.

It began with the academic ceremony in which the Novaschool Añoreta principal, Elvira Baez, the Novaschool Sunland International principal, Mark Woolley, the vice-principal, Ada Valero, the Head of studies of both schools, Fatima Lamb and Rachel Evans, and tutors, Patricia Rodriguez, Ali Bagherian and Rosa Ortiz, dedicated a few moving words to the students and wished them all the best.

Later, the guest of honor, Jose María Troya, director of the Malaga University´s School of Computing, along with the Novaschool CEO, Francisco Barrionuevo, also delivered a message in which they highlighted the importance of effort, work, commitment, perseverance and responsibility in their coming university years. After all the speeches, scholarships were awarded followed by the students´ diplomas, proving that they have completed their studies in the Novaschool Añoreta and Novaschool Sunland centres.

The second part of the ceremony took place in the dining room and began with a cocktail which was served in the playground. This was followed by a dinner for families, teachers and students in a dining room decorated for the occasion (covered with flowers, candles and lights) in order to send the future university students off in style.
